The Issue

The customer was experiencing a problem with their wood processing machine. The control module had been damaged, and after exploring our options, we found that there was going to be a long lead time on the replacement unit.

The machine was still operational, but it was working to a significantly reduced processing capability. This was because the operator had to manually operate the machine, rather than control it remotely from the cabin of a loader truck.

The customer was concerned that the delay in replacing the unit would lead to a huge backlog of material to process.

The Solution

After completing an assessment, we found that the old unit was damaged beyond repair.

Our expert team developed a new control module that was an improvement on the human machine interface (HMI) and led to a much more durable setup.

The module was built and fully operational within a matter of days, and the customer was extremely satisfied with the end result.
